Coco - a lady, fashion icon and legend

Today I came by this movie called "Coco before Chanel" - I guess I needn't explain the storyline. That reminded me the main reason I fell in love with fashion. A few years ago I read a book about Coco and she came my fashion idol. I admire her for so many reasons that I occasionally see in myself - that stubborn attitude of trying to stand out, that feeling of not "fitting" in the areas society, but still doing "my thing". And she succeeded! She didn't let anyone stop her on the way, she followed her heart and put up with all the criticism she got - the society that time preferred women who were like porcelain-dolls: wearing feathers, loads of jewellery, glitter and god knows what. But then came Coco - with pants, a shirt and blazer and rocked the world with being simple yet chic. Few years later every women in the world wanted to look like Coco.

Nevertheless, I give credit to Karl Lagerfeld - R's big favorite (because of Karl's fabulous style :D). Karl is doing great job with holding alive Coco's fashion and still rocking the world! It's 21th century and let's look around the stores and the streets. What do we see? We see little black dresses, women wearing pants and that timeless jacket! Coco is still alive - in her fashion.
