Every rose has its' thorn ... especially when you're on a construction site

Using the opportunity ...When your home street has been totally wrecked and is being built up, you have cool yellow bulldozers driving behind your window and every time you go out you have to think about whether you can cross the road or not since there are piles of mud .. that's when you know you have to dress up all black and just use the moment for taking some photos! It's not everyday you have such cool surrounding right at your home :) So, before the construction workers ran away from my home street, I had to use this amazingly edgy background and do something fun.  As you know, my camera broke down a bit last week, so I didn't have the possibility to take decent photos .. but that didn't stop us and we used my Sony xperia for doing this shoot! BTW, can you imagine my luck - my phone ALSO broke and is being repaired as we speak! How many technical issues can I have at once?! It's like the blogging gods have sent some heavenly problems in my way so I couldn't take pictures -.- Anyways no problem is big enough for not fixing it and we still managed to do these pictures :)

As some of you mentioned few days ago in my suggestion post that I could do something grungy and show my "other side" I decided to portray that a little bit and give you a little something of a girl who might look as a powerpuff girl but yet she has deeper, darker side as well. We all have that girl inside us!  I have to admit when I have the assignment to dress edgy I still add glitter and glam .. so here you go, I was posing with awesomely cloudy day in the middle of a construction site, wearing all black outfit and torn tights but still showing my girly side with pencil skirt and glittery blouse. PS: I love this shirt by Lindex - somehow it reminds me of Christmas Eve!

What do you think of this glam meets edgy style and the concept overall? Share your thoughts with me!

xoxo
