Take off your sunglasses and make them fly

Pictures by Rauno Põldme

There are these days when you just long for colors ... That's ecaxtly what happened to me a few days ago in the end of August. Since I had so much more articles to post, this baby totally slipped my mind and I realized I hadn't shown you these photos only today, even though we made them about a week ago when it was still summery and warm. Well, that gives me more of a reason to pump up your autumn-day with some colors! Both of these pieces are vintage and thrifted so it makes them that much more special to me - it's a true rush to find thrift-jewels and rock them as if they are the most ordinary things you could see - I mean it's absolutely normal to go and walk around with a skirt that has flying sunglasses on them (flying high, oh yeah). Hehe, okay I have to admit, people do stare at me sometimes with this impression "are you a normal human-being or some strange thingy out-of-space that just loves to dress like a maniac?" But you know what - somehow it makes me want to rock outfits like these even more! For me, the sign of people staring, is that what I'm doing is right - I'm standing out of the crowd and that's exactly what I want to push you into doing - don't be a wallflower, don't be satisfied with normality, be extraordinary, no matter how many mean stares you get or how many bad whispers you hear. As long as you are happy and feel good about what you do, it's all that matters!

PS: I just heard the news that River Island will be coming to Estonia soon! How awesome is that - now we will have H&M and River Island as well. I'm slowly starting to think this country might have some potential in turning into a shopping meka. Yay! (and nay for the wallet...)

Top - Onado | Skirt - Self-made | Belt & bracelets - thrifted | Boots - Jeffrey Campbell | Bag - Liz Claiborne
