Fashion Rant | | Has Chanel label lost it's touch? Time to get thing clear with the ultimate fashion-label: CHANEL

After my last post featuring so-called "hobo style" (you can check the article HERE) got very good feedback from you - whether it was positive or negative - I enjoyed reading your thoughts on a bit more controversal subject. That's the reason I've decided to start a new section in my blog called Fashion Rant - that means I will write about different styles, trends etc but instead of usual approach, mine will be more of a humorous rant explaining those fopa's in fashion and talking about that darker side that can be hidden from everyday glam and cool side. I hope you enjoy this new section and if you want to keep an eye on all of the posts, just find a label from my blog "fashion rant" or "controversy in fashion".
So today I want to talk about Chanel - what fashionista wouldn't have heard and loved this label? Our soul-sistah Coco Chanel became timeless with her bold attitude and amazingly chic, edgy style and of course she is the mother of fashion's Holy Grail - the little black dress!  She has been one of my personal inspirations in regards of a strong, powerful woman who never goes wrong with what she's wearing. Unfortunately, our Coco was still a human being (yes, not a cold-hearted steel woman as many might have thought) and 10th January 1971 was the awful day that took Gabrielle into it's arms forever.

Fortunately, there is Karl who has carried the legacy of Chanel today and holds that posititon with iron hand. Although, thanks to him the brand is probably the best and most successful one in the whole wide world we must admit Karl has it's quirkyness that causes a lot of hullabaloo and definitely not in a good way. Karl as being the Grumpy Cat of fashion world has himself determined a hate list which consists for example these things: sunshine, Heidi Klum, the internet, human contact, fatties, food, children and models who haven't been to Paris. Though sometimes we just have to love his sarcastic humour he has gone way too far and can be rather nasty dude.
Now, however Karl can be rather obnoxious and sometimes come out with fashion items that are not only unwearable but awfully ugly ( like these "beauties" here) , mostly the items of Chanel are still representing the true essence of it and I have to give him credit for that! Chanel remains as amazing label that every fashionista craves for.

But ..

What the f*ck is going on with those fake Chanel's?! ?!

When earlier it was a crime and incredibly tacky to wear a fake one, now it has become a TREND. Yes. It is a TREND to wear a Chanel-fake.

I mean, c'mon guys. Fake Chanel? A SWEATSHIRT? Saying "F*ck Chanel"? Have you guys lost your mind? I wouldn't even dare to wear something like this because I'd be too worried about real Chanel crawling out of her muddy grave and kick my freakin fat ass for disgracing her like that. Do you seriously, I mean SERIOUSLY think wearing something so tacky will make you cool and has a point? Okay, I understand, you are fighting against expensive labels? By saying .. um .. sexual references to a dead woman? Or saying Karl Lagerfeld as the head designer of Chanel should .. well .. do sexual things with you? Btw, those sweatshirts saying "fake" .. that just proves you to be stupid because there is no alive human being who would believe that sweatshirt is original Chanel anyways. Maybe in a parallel universe. So saying on it that it's fake makes you look stupid.

If you want to "fight" against expensive brands, start by creating a beautiful item with great quality and make it popular. Not by wearing a horrible shirt saying it's fake with references to Chanel or showing a middle finger to the world.

What do you think about fake Chanel's - not the well-copied replicas but those genuine shirts with reference to Chanel? Do you consider it to be a cool trend or something that should be burried with Coco herself (so she could rip those things apart)? What do you think of Karl Lagerfeld and his attitude? Shoot all your thoughts about Chanel in the comments! :)
