"Audrey" dress by Lindy Bop

After the review for Penny dress by Lindy Bop, that I did in previous post, on today's schedule is this cute, floral and girly Audrey dress. As you might see it before, Audrey dress is famous style in Lindy Bop collections, so you can see it in several versions - floral, with polka dots, in one color, and so on... Full name of the dress that I'm wearing is Lindy Bop 'Audrey' Hepburn Style Vintage 1950's Spring Garden Floral Party Dress and you can see it by clicking on this link.

In contrast to the flowing Penny dress, Audrey is made from really stronger cotton which gives you that recognizable fifties silhouette - emphasized narrow waist and full skirt. Like most of the Lindy Bop dresses, this one too has a hidden zipe on the side and it's fully lined. Altough I did not wear a petticoat on these pictures, I would recommend you to wear it, even though it's not necessary, in order to get the maximum of fullness on the lower part of the dress and even more thinner upper part :)

I have to admit that if I have to choose, I would choose this one as my favorite so far. Certainly, cut of this dress is something that I really, really love, but I'm also a sucker for dresses that are not only for one occasion, but that can also serve as both day or evening dresses. Also, I'm week for these colors and effective patterns because you don't have to wear any more details except flower in your hair and some cute earrings with it. For the end, when it comes to price, price of this dress is 34,99£.

(srb) Dragi moji, nakon Penny haljine koju ste imali prilike da vidite u prethodnom postu, na redu je još jedna Lindy Bop haljina. Ovog puta je u pitanju njihova poznata Audrey haljina koju imaju u nekoliko varijanti - jednobojne, cvetne, tufnaste... Za razliku od lepršave Penny, Audrey je napravljena od nešto krućeg pamuka zahvaljujući kojem postižete prepoznatljivu siluetu pedesetih godina - naglašeni uzak struk i puna suknja. Naravno, struk dodatno akcentujete nošenjem kaiša koji se dobije uz haljinu. Kao i većina Lindy Bop haljina, tako i ova ima sakriveni rajfešlus sa strane i postavu celom dužinom. Iako ja na fotografijama ne nosim žipon, ipak ću vam preporučiti njegovo nošenje, iako nije neophodno, radi punoće donjeg dela haljine i vizuelno još tanjeg gornjeg dela koji ćete njegovim nošenjem onda postići. Moram da priznam da mi je od tri haljine Audrey za sada favorit. Svakako da je tome doprineo njen kroj, ali ja padam na haljine koje nisu ograničene samo na jednu priliku već mogu da posluže i kao dnevne i kao večernje, zatim i na ove boje i efektan print uz koji nije potrebno mnogo detalja osim cveta u kosi ili nekih diskretnih minđuša. Za kraj, cena je 34,99 funti, odnosno oko 44 evra.
