What I wore?
* Pants - Seppälä
* Lace top & fur vest - Self-made
Hello everybody! <3
I've had some wonderful time during the weekend and also today I want to tell you about this amazing collaboration idea that created the outfit today! A few days ago, lovely Cloe-Anne from Pretty Little Dolls contacted me with an idea of doing a collaboration. We talked a bit, thought about some ideas (there were so many!) and decided to go with an outfit shot like this :) I'm not sure when you can see hers', but I'm sure it will be soon, so you can keep an eye on her blog as well. I love to do collaborations and therefore I encourage you to e-mail me for some ideas, I'd love to do some projects with you guys! I really do believe that interacting with followers and engaging them to my work is important, so that's the reason why I'd love to do more stuff like this. I'm very happy that Cloe-Anne kind a "started the chain" and I hope that someone will continue that path! Also, I used the opportunity today to wear the faux fur vest I just made, it makes me feel kind a cute and girly :) It's always such a rush to wear something made with your own hands!
Moreover, I want to share with you some bits and pieces of our yesterday's dinner which was so amazing. I still can't believe how little it actually takes to make something amazing yourself and to make the hole evening feel so special, even if there really isn't any special occassions. We wanted to relax and prepare a delicious meal ourselves, try out something we've never tried out before. I must mention that R is the chef in our house and I'm the baker, haha. Anyways, we scrolled through recipes, looking for something delicious until we found a recipe of French cuisine: pork filet with Camembert cheese. We did use actually Parmesan and dry cider instead of white wine, but it was really the most delicious thing I've ever tasted! It doesn't need any particular skills to do it, or a lot of time, so you can totally make it yourself as well! In the pictures you see some preparations, our table setting and of course the amazing main dish :) To end our night, I made us fruit salad with cream cheese and chocolate waffel sticks ... mm how yummy that was! A bit sweet, a bit refreshing, a bit creamy and crispy :) Anyways, enjoy the pictures, I hope it doesn't make you very hungry (sometimes when I look at food pictures I just get so so hungry, oh..)
This is how the final dish looked like - juicy pork with the sauce, crispy oven-baked potatoes and fresh cucumber-tomato-apple salad. Healthy and yummy!
