Hey-hey everybody! <3
First of all I want to wish you all a beautiful start of March! For me, March is going to be ... well, mind-blowing, filled with hard work and literally loads of sweat. The thing is that from today I'm starting THE INSANITY PROGRAM! Many of you might have heard of that (or maybe even done it?) but for all of you who don't - it really is insane. I've already watched some of the DVD's to get myself prepared for all of that and I can truly say that it is awesome! It is tough, really tough workout but it's effective - it burns up all of that unnecessary stuff, it gives you loads of strength and stamina, it teaches you how to balance your workout correctly, how to rest correctly, how to stretch correctly etc. It is just absolutely perfect for everybody who are willing to push themselves further and who want to lose all of those excess pounds with only 2 months. I'm very very excited - nervous, but excited - because I've fought with myself and my body for a very long time. I've tried many workouts and techniques but I've always given up because I don't see results in a short period of time. I guess that's what appeals me the most in insanity - I FEEL the results (because I will be constantly sore due to the workout, haha) but I see the results with a short amount of time. I've done all kinds of exercises for a long time, but I don't see progress because they are not as tough as this one. Hei-hei! Kõigepealt tahan ma teile kõigile soovida ilusat märtsi algust! Minu jaoks tuleb märts väga .. noh ütleme nii, et meeliülendav, täis rasket tööd ja otseses mõttes hunnikutes higi. Asi on nimelt selles, et alates tänasest alustan ma INSANITY programmi! Paljud teist on sellest ehk kuulnud (või isegi seda ise teinud?), kuid kõigile kes ei tea seda - see on tõesti hullumeelne. Ma olen juba vaadanud mõne DVD ära, et valmistada end ette ning ma võin tõesti öelda, et see on super. See on raske, väga raske trenn, aga see on efektiivne - see põletab ära kogu selle ebavajaliku kraami, see annab sulle hunnikutes jõudu ja vastupidavust, see õpetab, kuidas tasakaalustada oma trenni, kuidas õigesti puhata, venitada jne. See on täiesti perfektne kõigile neile, kes on valmis end täiega tagant õhutama ja kes tahavad kiirelt vormi saada. Ma olen väga väga ärevil - natuke närvis, aga heas mõttes ärevil - sest ma olen enda keha ja füüsisega pikka aega sõjajalal olnud. Ma olen proovinud palju mitmeid trenne, kuid nad ei ole töötanud minu puhul, sest ma ei näe tulemusi kiirelt. See mind Insanity puhul tõmbabki - ma tunnen tulemusi (sest ilmselgelt valutan ma üle keha kogu aeg :D) aga ma näen tulemusi kiirelt. Illustratsiooniks näete siin all pilte üldiselt trenni tutvustusest ning minu trennikavast. :)
Of course it is not just plain workout and working my ass off. Huge part of this program is healthy eating. I love the fact that it's NOT a diet, it is a lifestyle. It teaches you how to be healthy, not how to eat as few as possible, which somehow many diets do show you. The nutrition plan gives you some guidance on how to start eating healthy, how to fuel your body with the best. Since following the plan exactly as it is said, would cost about 150 euros per month and since we are still poor students with no income, I won't be following it EXACTLY the way it is said, nevertheless I've studied healthy eating so much that it won't be a problem. All you have to do, is just keep track on what you eat and how much you eat - huge part of my new eating plan is about keeping an eye on portions. Of course I'm cutting off all the saturated fats and will lower the amount of carbs but keep in mind that a diet that says you can't eat carbs AT ALL, does not work! You need all nutrients, but you just need to balance them correctly. What I recommend to you is - LISTEN TO YOUR BODY! And that is exactly how easy it is ;) Also, what I did do make it all even more effective, is that I started a food diary - I will write down all my meals and that way I can keep track on whether I need to change something about my eating or not.
Today is my first workout and it is the fit test. That means I have a bunch of exercises, a certain amount of time and I have to write down how much of those exercises I can do in that time. Fit test is in every 2 weeks and it will show the progress really well! Seeing your progress is only motivating so I love this part of the program!
So - I hope my fit test today goes okay and I won't hurt completely tomorrow. Anyways, I think I will be posting my "insanity story" once a week so I can give you some tips as well and tell you about how it all has been going. What do you think about it? I hope you like it and who knows - maybe it even motivates you to start exercising as well!

Muidugi ei ole tegemist ainult puhta trenni ja rabamisega. Suur osa sellest programmist on tervislik toitumine. Ma jumaldan fakti, et tegemist EI OLE dieediga, see on elustiil. Programm õpetab, kuidas olla tervislik, mitte kuidas süüa võimalikult vähe nagu paljud dieedid nagu üritavad õpetada. Toiduplaan annab juhiseid, kuidas alustada tervislikku toitumist, kuidas anda oma kehale parimat "kütust". Kuna selle plaani täpne järgimine läheks meile kahele maksma üle 150e kuus ja me oleme endiselt siiski vaesed tudengid, ei jälgi ma plaani 100% täpselt nagu seal, kuid kuna ma olen õppinud tervislikku toitumist nii palju, ei ole see siiski probleem. Kõik, mis tuleb teha, on hoida silm peal sellel, mida sa sööd ja kui palju sa sööd - suur osa uuest plaanist on portsjonitel silma peal hoidmine. Muidugi vähendan ma igasuguseid küllastunud rasvu ja süsivesikuid, kuid meeles tuleb pidada, et dieet, mis taunib süsivesikuid täielikult, ei tööta! Keha vajab kõiki toitaineid, kuid neid tuleb tarbida õiges koguses. Samuti mida ma soovitan kõigile - kuulake oma keha :) Just nii lihtne see ongi! Lisaks sellele olen ma muutnud asja efektiivsemaks sellega, et ma alustasin toidupäevikut, st ma kirjutan üles kõik oma toidukorrad ja niimoodi saan ma ilusti seda jälgida ning vajaduse korral teha muudatusi.
Täna on mu esimene trenn - füüsilise võimekuse test. See tähendab seda, et on vaja teha teatud harjutusi teatud ajaperioodil (u 1min) ning pean üles kirjutama, kui palju seda harjutust suutsin teha selle aja jooksul. Test on iga 2 nädala tagant ning näitab progressi suurepäraselt :) Enda edasimineku nägemine on tohutult motiveeriv, see on üks faktoreid, mis mulle selle programmi juures väga meeldib!
Ma loodan, et mu testike läheb täna hästi (põnevil!!) ja et ma suudan ikka homme kõndida ka :D Igatahes, ma arvan, et hakkan iga nädal postitama "insanity loo", et saaksin teile anda ka nõuandeid ning rääkida kuidas kõik läinud on. Mis te arvate sellest mõttest? Loodan, et see meeldib teile ning kes teab - ehk motiveerib ka ise trenni tegema!
