Insanity Week 5 - Recovery and new beginnings

Hello lovelies!
Writing this post, I'm happier than I've ever been! After 1 month of exhausting workout and trying to manage with new lifestyle, this week was something totally different. It was the Cardio recovery week! At first I thought it will be 6 days of just stretching or something but it turned out to be actually quite hard exercise! The first day I was exhausted after doing it and I couldn't do all the moves as perfectly as I should have. But yesterday, after I had done the same workout for the whole week, I had amazing results! I did all the exercises as they are supposed to be done, I didn't rest and I felt just amazing. When it comes to the workout itself, it was about half of cardio so you could get your heart rate up and the other half consisted of slower movements but oh boy how hard they were and how much power they needed! My favorite one, the one that took the most of me and the one that I couldn't complete 100% on Monday, was the shoulder burners in plie. So you could see what I'm talking about, here's a little video.
As you see in the video, it seems to be so easy but it's really exhausting! I'm so happy that yesterday I completed this exercise without any rest, for me it was a true achievement. A week filled with successful workouts has given me so much power to start with month 2. I'm a bit nervous, but I'm also very excited and I'm going to give my best!
This week has also been such a breakthrough for me, because the whole week my eating has been absolutely perfect and I couldn't be any more proud of it. I feel how only this week of good eating has changed my body - my skin is smoother and purer, I have so much more energy and willpower, my tummy is feeling happy and overall I feel how everything is changing to better. Yesterday we did a little challenge with going out to eat. It's always a huge temptation to go to a nice restaurant and to try avoid those bad foods - it's so much easier to cook for yourself because then the possibility of slips is way smaller. But - I'm so so so proud because I ordered natural fresh orange juice, grilled chicken salad with veggies and a smoothie! Haha, at the same time my little eating-maniac Rauno ordered a huge portion of salmon pasta and a whole plate of bruchettas (not to even mention he ate some buns while waiting for food .. and half an hour after finishing the food he said he'd like to have a burger now .. which we didn't of course :D) Actually I'm so pleased that we realized we can go out and enjoy ourselves even with my new lifestyle. I'm so proud! :)
I hope the next week will be as amazing as this one and I will complete the first week of Max interval training perfectly ! Fingers crossed that my results in Fit test tomorrow will be better! :)
