Tulips, tattoos and a stolen shirt

Hey-hey! :)

Though usually Sunday is the day when most people rest and relax, we had many things to do and our morning turned out to be very productive. :)  The weather had really let us down the past few days, because it had rained a lot, but yesterday we thought - what the heck, as long as it's not raining, let's do a photo shoot! It was very cloudy and grey today, but despite of those conditions, it was lovely. While we were walking, we saw some old ladies selling flowers at front of the department store and we really felt like buying some tulips from one poor old women - it was kind a sad to see her standing there in this foggy day, selling her flowers. But at least we got to make her happy with buying beautiful orange tulips that now shine on our kitchen table! :)

It amazes me how sometimes a little bit "off" weather - grey, foggy and "sad" - can inspire you. I always thought the best pictures are born with sunshine, but today I realized that it can be opposite. To suit into the general feeling of the day, I wanted to have a bit edgier outfit as well, to be "off" my usual condition. Therefore, I instantly thought about the plaid pattern trend and some leather that together give punk'ish touch to the look (on the other hand they can represent country music and cowboy trend). To complete the look and give it more edge, I added some massive accessories and by the way - got a tattoo! ;)

Ps: The tattoo isn't actually real - I drew it with whiteboard marker, so after I take a shower in the evening it will probably go down the drain. But I really enjoyed it and I might do another one for some different shoot :)

Few days ago I showed you in my Facebook page some plaid outfit inspiration! It all began from Rauno's shirt that I really love. The first time I ever saw him, he was wearing it and since that day somehow I've come to adore it and now for this photo shoot I "stole" it from him. Luckily for me, he doesn't wear casual shirts often, so I can use it as much as I like, yay! :) Plaid shirts aren't actually that much of a new trend, it has been around the stores and fashion world for at least 4-5 years and after it became very popular amongst men, women took over the plaid shirt and started rocking it! It's perfect for everyday casual outfits, but then again it matches skirts and stilettos equally well.  How would you wear the plaid shirt?

Whenever we are doing photos for my blog, I never miss a chance of taking some shots of my sweetie who sometimes looks even more dressed up than I do :D I swear people look at his outfit more than mine! But hey - he is extremely stylish and huge inspiration for me as well :)

Our beautiful little tulips :) They are so bright, colorful and just looking at them brings a smile on my face! Sunday with beautiful flowers is perfect. :)
