Weekend getaway trip @Tallinn

What a hectic time it has been! If you've followed me in Facebook, you might know already about my trip to Tallinn. Some Estonians might not call it even a proper trip, but trust me - all the packing, unpacking, driving around and riding for long hours in buses .. that's a quite exhausting going-away I'd say. Somehow it always happens that you can't sleep when away from home and now that I'm back home I can't sleep either because I have so many catching-ups to do (can you imagine how many errands can come with 4-5 days!?) + I'm working. Well, taking the time now, at almost midnight, and thinking about the time we spent, it was magnificent. The fun part is that I've never really found the time to properly visit Tallinn, Rauno's home town, so going together to Tallinn was a very special thing with him being able to introduce his home town to me :) It was so much fun and filled with loads of exciting experiences that in the end can't even fit into this post - I had to cut down from 85 pictures to these 4 collages that sum up everything  - delicious food, beautiful buildings and nature, fooling around, shooting some pictures and of course crazy shopping!

Our weekend was in the whole filled with eating out, finding new restaurants and exploring amazing dishes! These are only the few of those we had but oh my how good they wear. On our first day we stopped by from St Patrick's pub that is so cozy and the perfect place for a little chill & relax. You can see the chicken salad I ordered (heaven!) and chocolate cake with vanilla ice-cream. Yumm-yumm!

The architecture - unseparable part of Tallinn's beauty. Kadriorg, the old town and all the beautiful places .. gosh, I was blown away by it and I really wanted to take a picture of almost every house! On some moments it even reminded me a little bit of Italy, don't know why ... but it was beautiful indeed.

... and the nature! The parks, fountains, water, birds .. true heaven. Who thought that in the middle of all this stressful life there is this calm serenity where your mind goes blank and all the worries pass.. It was truly beautiful and very romantic.

Yes, shopping. What is even more amazing compared to the amount of little restaurants, is the amount of all the stores and boutiques. We really didn't manage to stop by from anywhere else than big shopping centres but as soon as we return, we must visit all the tiny cute boutiques as well to show you that uniqueness :) However, I found the Lita Boots! I will tell you all about it very soon in an outfit post but my luck is infinite - I finally got my most loved fashion item. <3 It was a true weekend of piece, beauty, romance and love - perfection.
