Rockin' around the Christmas tree

Hello lovelies!  It's Christmas time for me :) Since I'm going to my grandparents house tomorrow for the holidays, R & I are having our own Christmas dinner today - I just baked a chocolate cake, R is cooking us some meat, potatoes and loads and loads of more delicious stuff! It's going to be perfect & it's our first Christmas meal together.

For this special occasion, I really wanted to have an outfit according to the day - classy but yet cute and comfy, exactly the way I like it. So, I decided to wear these AMAZING shoes from New Look . The story of these shoes is just so cute. The thing is, I got them from this small second-hand store near to my home. I was just passing by there, seeing what's new and voila - R saw these shoes. I must mention that we are both such succers for red and he almost bounced around seeing those shoes since they were bright red, had this satin fabric on them and just appealed to us both. I hesitated for a second, because it was just a second-hand store with only ONE pair of these shoes - usually shops like that have very small sizes and I didn't want to disappoint myself with finding amazing shoes that don't fit me. BUT - these shoes were EXACTLY MY SIZE! (39 / 6-7 uk size). So yes - the decision was made and I left from the store with these shoes. Also I must mention the prize - they cost 10 euros! (13 dollars/8 pounds).  After buying them of course I realized that it wasn't just any brand, but actually a quality store :) Wasn't that just the most perfect purchase ever?!

Since I didn't have the opportunity to find the perfect matching red dress, I decided to wear this old cute velvet dress. I must admit I have some "evil" plans of re-making the dress, but that's for the future. ;)  Oh and to end my outfit - I LOVE my leather jacket! I bought it this autumn from Vero Moda and I have the same evil plans with the jacket too  - I can reveal the secret that I plan to "attack" my jacket with some studs.

What am I wearing?
* Leather jacket from Vero Moda
* Dress - vintage
* Belt - New yorker
* Tights - Lindex
* Shoes - New Look

 And here is a better look to the actual shoe:

Before I mentioned perfect red dresses - oh my god, there are just LOADS of them! I will definitely get one for next Christmas. It seems so "usual" and boring to wear red dresses for Christmas but I say it's the most cute and stylish thing to do :) So, go and rock with your red dresses, here are some samples for you to get inspired by ! xoxo
